Fashion Week Video

May 27, 2009

This a video I put together from my night at the Seattle Fashion Week. I designed the motion background for one of the fashion designers, Logan Neitzel. Logan is a cool  and a very talented designer. It was a fun project to work on, and I got to use a countdown and a shatter effect. :)

I helped out neighbor, Logan Neitzel, spice up his catwalk with a short little video loop to play during his part of the show today. Can’t wait to go see how it looks.

I completed a round of animations for Smith last week. They are starting to show up on Smithoptics.com.

Much love to my dudes in the Great 208.

Busy Boys

April 3, 2009

I spent the later part of the day capturing footage. Between tapes I took my headphones off and noticed that all had gone quiet. The print shop was busy all day with client meetings and people coming in to work and move stuff. I went out with my camera to see what was going on. I took a stroll around and discovered that everyone was working. Quickly, quietly and kinda creepy.

The chair at the end of the clip is use to collect the rain leaking from the skylight.

“Someone”, who is usually very good with a drink in one hand and a video camera in the other was not on his game last night. I totally dropped my camera on the ground last night :( lucky for me, the wide angle adapter took most of the impact and saved the camera. I’m using it right now to capture the video from last nights Champagne Champagne show at Winners Circle. It was crazy fun, but I wish my lens wasnt busted.

tapes

I got a box of tapes to log this week!

Render Walk Photos

January 27, 2009

Today was a long one. At the end of it I was in zombie mode. I took a little stroll around the print shop (where I currently keep my desk) and snaped off a few shots while my files rendered. It has been interesting doing my work out of a screen printing shop. Mostly because I’m not a screen printer. I have my desk, work on my projects, and try not to get ink from the screens all over myself.

Catty Mills, JR, and Carrots invaded my space last night for a surprise pizza party. Cat was so shocked at the state of my kitchen, she just had to clean it. Jr and I enjoyed some coke and pizza while the fabulous miss Cat took a layer of crust off everything in my kitchen. Thanks a Cat Millions!
